| Welcome to the home page of Susan Booth, fine arts painter. Susan paints a variety of subjects in acrylic, pastels and oil. A life-long interest in Native American culture impacts many of her works. Southwestern landscapes became a focus while living in Santa Fe and Pojoaque, NM from 2000-2002. Currently, she is creating graphic interpretation of Cherokee creation stories and myths. Spearfinger and Uktena are amongst her works available in the portfolio. Susan blends her Native American subject interests with her appreciation of the Fauvist artists, and creates striking portraits, as seen in Benediction and Wise One. Susan is a member of the Cleveland Guild of Nature Artists and represented in Cleveland by Penello Gallery.

Portraiture has been a recent focus for Susan. Enjoy her expression
of admiration for Frida Kahlo in the following works, featuring
portraits of Frida in recognizable and novel styles.
Focus on Frida
Susan's longstanding interest is depicting aspects of Native American culture. Pictographs and petroglyphs offer a glimpse into ancient times. Susan draws on examples of these forms from the New and Old Worlds to influence this collection.
